My husband, John, and I have three wonderful children, Nicolle (15), Luca (5) and Matteo (3). Life for us is very hectic. A teenager and two little boys keep us on our toes all the time...but we would not have it any other way! The day starts early with the sound of the "BoBo Brothers" rummaging in the cereal cupboard and playing superheroes. It's not long before we are offically woken up by the two little hungry monkeys! Nicolle too is usually up before us...aren't teenagers supposed to be sleeping all the time? The boys love playing outside in the dirt (and the dirtier the better!), love bugs, going to the playground, horses, climbing rocks, playing with goats, rocking out, or just simply "helping" Mummy with the gardening. Nicolle is a great horse rider, part of her school choir, and absolutely fantastic with the little ones. As a family we go out on hikes, swimming days, church, and we are sure to be there if there is a local social event! |

A bit about me and work...

I was born and raised in Italy where I worked organizing political elections, and gaining invaluable marketing experience. I furthered my political career in London, England, where I obtained my Bachelor's in Sociology. I also worked for a financial institution in the City, as a marketing researcher, and I taught at University level. I made the move to social research, a field in which I spent five years, gaining further experience in marketing and in dealing with people from different backgrounds. After moving to the US in 2002, I worked for a Housing Association Management company and a Home Builders’ company in Orange County as an assistant to the Sales and Marketing Director. In 2003 I decided to put my extensive experience into direct sales, and started my Real Estate career in Springville, CA by specializing in mountain properties transactions. I am now a Realtor with Melson Realty, in Porterville, CA, and have been for several years, during which I have handled all types of real estate transactions (residential, commercial, land and lots and agricultural). It is here at Melson that I was awarded the Up and Coming Agent award in 2007, the Top Producer award in May 2008, the Italian Stallion award after completing extensive training in 2008, and more recently the Melson “Made It” award for exceeding my target for 2008, by more than tripling my previous year’s earnings, as well as the Melson Million Dollar Club award, for sales volume topping $5,000,000 in 2008. I have also successfully listed and dealt with all aspect of several REO sales transactions for Countrywide, WaMu, and Coldwell Banker, as well as being an expert in BPOs. I have experience in the whole of Tulare County, as well as being a member of both the Orange Belt Board of Realtors and the Tulare County MLS. |

My first love and passion is absolutely my family. However, I believe in voluntary work, and in giving back to the community, starting at the local level. This is why I am an ambassador for the Porterville Chamber of Commerce, I work closely with the City of Porterville on new initiatives (i.e. the Foreclosure Prevention Committee, and the Homeless Project). I have also been the vice-president of my daughter's school's PTO. At times like Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving we get together as a family, bake and cook for our neighbours and our local Fire Fighters. John and I also love traveling (we have been around quite a bit) and cooking. We try and cook everything from scratch, and whenever possible only use organic local ingredients. We love to cook roasts and baked potatoes, as well as the old fashioned pasta and pizza (I am Italian after all!). And there is never a shortage of home desserts at our house...usually compliments of those chickey monkeys, who eat more batter than they stir! |
